Love the LORD

your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

You shall have no other gods before me.
You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to worship them...
You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God...
Remember the Sabbath by keeping it holy...

Love your neighbor as yourself

Honor your father and mother...
You shall not murder.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet you neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

How can I show love to others?

Paul - A Perfect Example

If you examine the beginning and end of Paul's letters you will find a wonderful example of Christian friendship. If you read the content of his letters you may think that he didn't have great compassion and love for the people in the church (he was often bringing there attention to and calling them out of sin). On the contrary, Paul knew the congregations of most of the churches very intimately. Romans 16 is a prime example of this, as Paul personally greets and names a great list of individuals in the congregation. This is a testimony to Paul's great love and intimate friendship he had and maintained with His brothers and sisters in Christ.
