Paul - A Perfect Example

If you examine the beginning and end of Paul's letters you will find a wonderful example of Christian friendship. If you read the content of his letters you may think that he didn't have great compassion and love for the people in the church (he was often bringing there attention to and calling them out of sin). On the contrary, Paul knew the congregations of most of the churches very intimately. Romans 16 is a prime example of this, as Paul personally greets and names a great list of individuals in the congregation. This is a testimony to Paul's great love and intimate friendship he had and maintained with His brothers and sisters in Christ.
