Procrastination: putting off until tomorrow what we know we need to do today.

"The problem with procrastination is that when we put off those things that we know God wants us to do, we are not making His priorities our priorities." 1st Place 4 Health

As we will learn in our study on Day 1, we are not the only ones who suffer from procrastination. But does that make it okay?

day 1: ohmygoodness, to think my behavior is really just pure selfishness and a rebellious unwillingness to allow God to work through me is kinda hard to swallow! This day was so good for my heart!

Day 1: I believe I have completely lost sight of what it is God wants me to do. I have gotten myself into so many different things that I am confused. I want to honor God in all my ways and I want those ways to be from Him. LORD, help me sort through and get rid of all those things that are not of You. Amen.

Day 2 - Give careful thought to your ways

Have you taken action on the things that God has already revealed to you? Are you neglecting God?

When thinking about these questions, think about them deep within your heart. Once you bring these matters to the surface, you can confess them to God. He loves you and will forgive you so you can get back on track with being obedient to Him.

Day 3: "Is busyness the thing that is keeping me from taking care of the business that is important to God?" What are your priorties for life, for your day? Are you busy doing the things that please you or what is pleasing to God?

How do you deal with a sugar addiction that has a strong hold on you? I KNOW I need to bring it under God's authority, but it's so hard and I find myself time and time again giving in to eating things I shouldn't. I have that "gotta get a sugar fix now" feeling that I all too often succumb to. AGH! Plus, it's so much harder when it is all around you at work.

RE: Sugar addiction Put some sugarless gum in your pocket and every time you get the urge to eat candy or something you shouldn't when you are not hungry, pop a piece of gum in your mouth and walk away.
